Confronted with complex challenges, Avyance delivers tailored solutions that strengthen collaboration, enhance performance, and advance the FAA's safety and innovation mission.

Air Traffic Organization (ATO) — Provided executive coaching, leadership development, labor-management facilitation, and change management using evidence-based tools such as Gallup CliftonStrengths™ and Emotional Intelligence Quotient™. This approach fostered stronger leadership alignment, improved communication between management and unions, and enhanced workforce engagement across 35,000+ personnel.

Airports (ARP) — Implemented organizational improvements based on an in-depth staffing optimization study. Through a multi-pronged approach, including program management, cultural alignment, workforce planning, training development, and process optimization, Avyance helped ARP align staff and offices, strengthen collaboration, and enhance operational efficiency.

Commercial Space Transportation — In the Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (AUS), Avyance facilitated strategic planning offsites, conducted organizational assessments, and delivered executive coaching to strengthen leadership cohesion and guide the integration of new entrants—such as drones—into the National Airspace System.

Aviation Safety (AVS) — Provided facilitation, coaching, and change management expertise to enable teams to navigate adaptive challenges, build high-performing cultures, and enhance safety oversight.

Security & Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) — Provided facilitation, coaching, and change management expertise to enable teams to navigate adaptive challenges, build high-performing cultures, and enhance safety oversight.

Avyance supported the National Gallery of Art’s transition from a legacy financial management system to Oracle’s cloud-based platform, marking the first federal deployment of this system. Through targeted training, tailored communications, and focused stakeholder engagement, we equipped more than 250 employees with the skills to confidently use the new system. Leadership secured strong workforce buy-in, user adoption exceeded expectations, and staff successfully embraced the modernized platform – advancing the museum’s financial clarity, agility, and operational efficiency.

Avyance supported the FAA Engineering Services through multiple initiatives, tackling challenges from standardizing processes to developing structured strategic planning. Through meeting facilitation, developing and refining task statements, coordinating research across FAA tools and processes, guiding problem-root-cause analyses, and building collaborative assets such as the ENet Website and Project Library, Avyance provided the structure and momentum needed to move initiatives forward.

This hands-on facilitation, change management support, and strategic guidance enabled clients to progress their initiatives efficiently, align on solutions, and present cohesive recommendations to leadership—ultimately improving organizational effectiveness and advancing engineering design process improvements across service areas.

Avyance is partnering with the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) and BWI Airport to enhance organizational efficiency, accountability, and alignment with long-term strategic goals. Through comprehensive assessment, stakeholder engagement, division-level analysis, benchmarking, and leadership collaboration, Avyance identified opportunities to refine structure, processes, and reporting relationships.

These efforts are helping MAA and BWI strengthen performance, improve collaboration, and position the organization for sustained operational success and strategic agility.

Avyance supported the FTA’s Transit Safety and Oversight office as a subcontractor to McBride Consulting. We delivered program management, organizational analysis, and process improvement support to help the safety office strengthen internal operations. We also contributed to safety policy, risk management, and process automation efforts to improve regulatory oversight and advance the FTA’s mission.

The SBA 8(a) Program is a U.S. Small Business Administration initiative to help socially and economically disadvantaged businesses grow by providing training, counseling, and sole-source contract opportunities, allowing federal agencies to contract directly with eligible firms (typically for up to $4 million). It's a nine-year program with developmental and transition stages, requiring 51% ownership by disadvantaged individuals (e.g., minorities, women, disabled) and offering significant federal contracting advantages to build their capacity.

The acronym EDWOSB stands for Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business, a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) federal contracting program designed to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs.
